A doctor who was a hitman for the mob tries to figure out how to survive his past catching up to him. Pretty original premise, and there's going to be another novel. Can't wait...

France. I've always had a fascination with the country since I'm named after the capital. I love French films. I'd love to learn how to speak the language. And I have to see the Eiffel Tower in person...

Easy. Flash Gordon. Sure it was cheesy, but the soundtrack by Queen made it epic. I watched it everyday after school...

Easy. Waffles, with a glass of O.J. and some milk.

The even sadder part about a tragedy, such as the one that happened in Japan, are people making ignorant comments. This woman posted a video on YouTube saying the earthquake was the answer to her prayers, a wake up call to atheists everywhere. Now I'm a firm believer that things happen for reason, sometimes beyond our comprehension. But this? This is not it.

Watching this was kind of bitter sweet. DC has been doing a good job, with their animated movies. And this no exception. Dwayne McDuffie put his own stamp on Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly’s story. His take on Superman facing his mortality marked the end of an influential career

I was huge fan of writer/director Aaron Katz's last film Quiet City. His new film re-teams with Quiet City's male lead, Cris Lankenau. He plays Doug, a college dropout who moves back home to Portland to live with his older sister, Gail. He ends up working a dead end job and pretty much coasts through life until his ex-girlfriend Rachel turns up missing. Doug was studying forensics, and he puts his skills to use trying to determine Rachel's whereabouts. It's kind of slow. But as the mystery unravels, certain people aren't exactly what they seem. The ending might put some people off, but for what it's worth, Cold Weather isn't a run of the mill mystery.
